Beta Package Targeted-Area Assessment

A focused mold assessment and laboratory testing service for one specific room or area of concern, such as a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, or laundry room.

Understanding This Service

What Is the Beta Package?

The Beta Package is designed for a specific situation: you have one room or area of the property that concerns you, and you want that area evaluated and tested without paying for a whole-home assessment. Common examples include a bathroom with a persistent musty odor, a kitchen with a slow leak under the sink, a bedroom closet that stays damp, a laundry room near a water heater, or an HVAC air handler closet.

Rather than inspecting the entire property, a licensed Home Enviro assessor concentrates the visual inspection, moisture mapping, and thermal imaging specifically on the area of concern, then collects one indoor air sample from that space plus one outdoor baseline sample for laboratory comparison. This gives you a documented, lab-supported answer about that specific area at a lower cost than a full-property package.

Why Choose the Beta Package?

Who It Is Designed For

Customers who have identified one specific area of concern rather than a whole-home issue. If you can point to the exact room, closet, or piece of equipment that worries you, Beta is built for that situation.

Why Someone Would Choose It

The benefit is a focused investigation combined with laboratory testing, so you get an evidence-based answer about one area without purchasing a broader whole-home package you don't need.

What Type of Property or Concern

Best suited to a single-room or single-area concern: a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, laundry room, closet, HVAC area, or another specific area, regardless of the overall size of the home.

How It Differs From Other Packages

Sigma and Omega evaluate the entire property. Beta stays scoped to one area, which keeps the price lower when a whole-home assessment is not needed. See the comparison below.
